Currently living in Florida after accepting a job opportunity in Real Estate, Dan Mazy (Former Competitor of the URC) caught up with longtime friend and car owner Brian Thomas during the Volusia Speedway Winter Nationals.
Brian currently fields a car in the newly formed NEWS class (Northeast Wingless Sprints). This class runs regularly at the New Egypt Speedway in New Egypt, New Jersey. His regular driver Billy Pauch Jr. had a few scheduling conflicts that disallowed him to fill the seat in every event this season.
Brian has extended the opportunity for Dan to come up a few times this year and pilot his NEWS Sprint car. The first show scheduled for the duo will be this Saturday night, April 30th for Baseball night at New Egypt Speedway. Start time is slated for 6PM, general admission is $18.00.
