The Oil Capital Racing Series ventured out west to Longdale Speedway to complete a stretch of competing on the three fastest tracks (Ada, Salina, and Longdale) on the circuit. Starting on the pole of the first heat race, Bookout rocketed the Finish Line Coatings, Ti22 Performance sprinter to an early lead, stretching it out each lap. But before the race was half over a wreck brought out the red and a subsequent restart. Again Bookout sprinted to the lead and finished the heat with a comfortable lead winning his first race of the season.
The "A" Feature began with Bookout on the pole. The team was just "off" enough on the setup to keep the Dubl-07 from competing for the win resulting in a 9th place finish (second top 10 of the season in the OCRS). The solid performance of the evening was enough to vault Bookout from 11th to 7th in the OCRS season standings.
