Sandusky Speedway will sit idle this weekend (Saturday June 4th, 2016) but kicks into high gear on Saturday June 11th with the Modifieds, Sportsman, Street Stocks, Hobby Stocks and the first of three 'Power Wheel Demo' for ages 3 to 8 years old.
The following week on Saturday June 18th - the Main Event Late Model Series and the ARCA Gold Cup combine forces for a 100 lap event! This will be the first of two combined ARCA Gold Cup/MERS races with the second to be held at on Saturday August 13th at Toledo Speedway. Also on hand will be the Modifieds, Sportsman and Hobby Stocks!
On June 25th, 2016 the Modifieds, Sportsman, Street Stock and Hobby Stocks will be complimented with a $300.00 to win 'Chain Race' where two cars are chained together with the front car being the power and the rear car being the brakes. The first 4 positions will be paid (more information is located on the rules page). This is the first of a series of special events that will be added to the schedule during the season. The MSA Supermodifieds are in town on July 2nd followed by the Mid Season Championship races on July 9th. A second Modified $1,000.00 to win/$200.00 to start is scheduled for July 16th as the stage begins to get set for the 39th Annual Hy-Miler Supermodified Nationals on July 28th, 29th and 30th!!!
