Gengo Racing traveled to Gator Motorplex to race with the Lone star 600's. With car count nearing 35 Hunter had his work cut out with some tough competition. Hunter drew a 36 landing him starting second row outside in heat 1 of the night. Hunter would get a good start but would jump the cushion a few times and would end up 5th. This landed Hunter starting 20th for the A-Main. Hunter rolled out for the a-main with a slick track to work with. Hunter would get of to a great start but would have to deal with 5 complete restarts due to cautions and not making complete laps. Finally Hunter would get a few laps in and make his way up the pack finding himself in the top 10. Hunter would end up 6th battling with 5th for several laps and finally found a way to get around him and would finish in 5th place. "It was a good night we just need to work on our heat races and start more towards the front of the pack" Said Hunter.
