After a week of racing in California the Streaker Racing team wasted no time getting back on the track, this time making the trip up north to Thunder Raceway in Show Low, AZ.
Pill draw would determine the heat race line ups and with a great draw, Jarrett would line up on the pole for heat race number 1.
Jarrett would jump out to a big lead on the start on the heat and wouldn’t face a challenge during the 8 lap race. Jarrett lead every lap going on to win the heat by a straightaway, which would line him up on the pole for the Main.
Jarrett would get a good start coming out of turn 4 to clear the outside pole sitter of Devon Amos heading down the front stretch. Jarrett would increase his lead slightly every lap as Amos and the 17J of Jacob Johnston battled for 2nd. Jarrett’s lead would evaporate when the caution would come out for a hard wreck in turn 4. Jarrett would get off to a good start again as he led the field to green coming out of turn 4 and would begin to pull away from the field as Amos and Johnston continued their battle for 2nd. Jarrett would keep a half straight away lead on the field until the second and final caution for a car that spun to a stop, Jarrett narrowly missed making contact with the car as he exited a very dusty turn 4. On the restart with 5 to go, Amos would put a little pressure on Jarrett as they came out of turn 2 and raced down the backstretch. Jarrett was able to fend off the challenge and remain in the lead, he would lead all 20 laps on the Main to earn his 4th win of the year!
