The past weekend led the SLS Motorsports #23BC to Eagle Raceway’s High Bank Thunder event to run with the RaceSaver 305 sprints.
Snyder would find himself with an eighth place starting position in the second heat. He would quickly find his way to the top-3 in the caution-filled heat race before taking the lead with the #12 of Tyler Dreuke following, who would blow an engine a few laps later. Stu would go on to win the heat race and transfer to the feature event. Making the invert, Snyder would line up in the eleventh starting spot. He would navigate through the field of cars at the drop of the green flag up to eighth place before the first yellow on lap 2 for Clint Benson. By lap 11, Stu would work his way into the fourth running position. A red flag would come out for Nick Bryan on lap 13, who was okay. The restart would be the 03 of Bade, 4x of Danley, 5x of J. Martin, and 23BC of Snyder, but Danley would work his way into the pit area under caution, moving the 23BC into the third position. Stu would take second position from Jason Martin on the restart before the red flag arose for Terry Richards with 8 laps remaining. On the restart, Snyder and Martin would battle for position for a few laps with Snyder taking the position. Stu would navigate every surface of the track trying to find a line quick enough to get around Bade who had moved to the top after the red flag, but came up just short as the checkered flag flew. Bade would take the feature win with Snyder and Martin rounding out the top-3.
“I wanted this one bad, it would have meant a lot to my team and I to park this 23BC on the front stretch with a win in honor of Bryan Clauson,” Snyder stated.
The 23BC Myers Racing Engines 305 will not be running at Eagle Raceway August 27th as Stu will be participating with the Nebraska 360 Sprints in the CB Motorsports #81BC Friday and Saturday night.
