LaSalle, IL July 13---The Mid-State Equipment /Zimbrick Chevrolet of Sun Prairie Badger Midget Racing Series, for the first-time in nineteen years returns to the LaSalle Speedway on Saturday Night August 27.
The “Bill Waite Jr. Memorial” will be headlined by the co-sanctioned IRA Bumper to Bumper Outlaw & MOWA Neal Tire & Auto Center Sprint Car Series event. Also competing will be the 1200 mini sprints event co-sanctioned by Wisconsin/Illinois & Central Illinois Mini Sprint Series, and UMP Street Stocks.
Badger last appeared at the 1/3-mile clay oval on June 6, 1997, when Kevin Olson claimed the feature victory.
The following evening Sunday Aug. 28 IRA, MOWA, and Badger Midget travel north to Angell Park Speedway (Sun Prairie, WI). Also on the racing schedule at the track will be the Wisconsin Dirt Racing Legends.
