Inside Line Promotions – DRUMRIGHT, Okla. (Feb. 28, 2017) – The Driven Midwest USAC NOW600 National Micro Series presented by MyRacePass is returning to Texas this Friday for the first of four visits to Wichita Speedway in Iowa Park.
The Stock Non-Wing and Restricted ‘A’ Class divisions will be in action at the bullring, which also welcomes the series in June before hosting the season finale doubleheader in late October. This weekend’s show is co-sanctioned with the Driven Midwest NOW600 North Texas Region.
Frank Flud swept the season-opening Stock Non-Wing doubleheader with Noah Gass and Ryder Laplante splitting the Restricted ‘A’ Class features on Feb. 17-19 at Superbowl Speedway in Greenville, Texas.
Flud enters this weekend with a 16-point lead in the Stock Non-Wing championship standings over Trevor McIntire and Marcus Thomas.
Dylan Pendergrass and Daison Pursley are tied atop the Restricted ‘A’ Class championship standings after both drivers recording top-five finishes in the first two races of the season. Laplante ranks third – only two points behind Pendergrass and Pursley.
Flud won twice with Kyle Jones also recording a victory during three Stock Non-Wing features at Wichita Speedway last season. Kaylee Bryson, Blake Scott and Pendergrass each garnered a Restricted ‘A’ Class triumph at the track last year.
The gates open at 5 p.m. with hot laps scheduled for 8 p.m. on Friday.
General admission tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for police, fire, military members and/or seniors and $8 for children ages 6 to 12-years-old. Children ages 5-years-old and younger get in free. Pit passes are $30 each.
