26 Promotions – Peoria, AZ – (March 22nd, 2017) – Michael Colegrove followed up his Wing win at Canyon Speedway Park with another trip to Victory Lane, this time in a Non-Wing Micro, while Scotty Milan’s last lap pass of Kaiden Clark earned him his first Restricted Micro win of his career.

19 Non-Wing Power 600 Series-Precision Tile Micro’s would be spread out across three heat races to get the action started. Shon Deskins, Kyle Huttenhow, and Ray Herrera would pick up the heat race wins. Michael Colegrove would move up to 3rd from his 5th starting position in heat 1, placing him 5th place in passing points and with a 6-car invert, Colegrove would start on the outside of the front row for the 20 lap Feature.

It was all Colegrove throughout the Main as he would lead all 20 laps holding off Dale Eliason Jr, who would finish in the runner-up position for the second week in a row from his 5th starting position. Eliason Jr gave Colegrove his biggest challenge throughout the race, but a lapped car would slow Eliason Jr’s momentum in the final handful of laps. Ray Herrera rounded out the podium finishing 3rd from 6th. Mason Keefer charged from 12th to 4th and Kyle Huttenhow completed the top 5 after starting in 4th.

After picking up the heat race win from 4th, Scotty Milan would start 3rd behind Kaiden Clark and Cameron LaRose. LaRose would take the early lead coming out of turn 2 but would slow momentarily as the car exited turn 4, allowing Kaiden Clark to lead the first lap. Clark would continue to lead while LaRose and Milan battled behind him for 2nd. Milan would take over the position with 4 to go and instantly challenge Clark for the lead. Clark and Milan raced side by side into turn 3, Milan was able to get to the inside of Clark and clear him in the middle of turns 3 and 4 as they raced to the checkers to pick up his first career Restricted Micro win.
