Nolan Wren Memorial 6th Annual

Nolan Wren Memorial 6th Annual

Nolan began racing in 1968. He was known for racing at Moody Clary Speedway and Big H Speedway, to name a few. His love for the sport didn't stop when he retired from racing. His sons got the racing bug and he enjoyed helping them with their Mini Sprints. He loved watching racing whether it was going to tracks to be a spectator or watching NASCAR on tv. However, his passion was for the open wheeled dirt track cars, especially the sprint cars. His life was cut short when he was diagnosed with Leukemia in March 2011 and after a brief battle he passed away on September 26, 2011. A group of racers and friends wanted a way to keep his memory alive which is how the Nolan Wren Memorial Race was started.
