Making the third appearance at Tri City this year way hoping to have better luck. Unfortunately another bad pill draw would have 23jr starting 8th in the first heat. Sodeman would battle to make it into the 7th position, but didn't make it into the draw for the feature and would have to start 13th. Sodeman battled for position from the drop of the green flag, but with constant lap traffic it was difficult to make as many positions. A caution was brought out on lap 26, circling around Sodeman noticed a flat right rear which sent him to the pits. Sodeman would end the night with a DNF in the 17th finishing spot.
