Inside Line Promotions – DRUMRIGHT, Okla. (May 22, 2017) – The first-ever Sooner 600 Week is on tap for the Driven Midwest USAC NOW600 National Micro Series presented by MyRacePass.

The unique speedweek, which features six races at four tracks in Oklahoma and Kansas, will also be co-sanctioned by the Driven Midwest NOW600 Sooner Region. All three NOW600 premier classes – Stock Non-Wing, Winged ‘A’ Class and Restricted ‘A’ Class – are competing each night.

The action begins this Friday and Saturday at I-44 Riverside Speedway in Oklahoma City, Okla. It marks the series’ first visit to the track since April 2014.

Oklahoma native Frank Flud has dominated the Driven Midwest USAC NOW600 National Micro Series non-wing and winged ‘A’ Class divisions, winning four out of five features in both classes to lead the championship standings.

Flud has a 42-point lead over Jason McDougal with Avery Goodman 63 points out of the lead in the non-wing standings.

Flud owns a 34-point lead over Kevin Bayer in the winged ‘A’ class standings with McDougal 35 points behind Flud.

Steven Shebester (non-wing) and Dustin Davidson (winged ‘A’ Class) are the only other drivers besides Flud to win in either class this season.

Daison Pursley has earned five top fives in six races to hold the championship lead in the restricted ‘A’ class standings. Ryder Laplante, who has won four of the six main events, is only three points back. Chase Randall, who has also captured a feature victory – along with Noah Gass – is 12 points out of the lead.

Tickets for this weekend’s shows are $10 for adults, $8 for senior citizens and military members, $5 for teenagers, $3 for children ages 6 to 12 and free for children ages 5 and younger each night.

The front gates are scheduled to open at 3 p.m. with racing at 7 p.m. on Friday. The drivers meeting is at 5 p.m. Everything starts a half hour earlier on Saturday.

The series will hold the draw directly after the drivers meeting and it will close after the last driver present at the meeting has drawn in. If any driver is running late he or she should call Series Director Terry Mattox at 918-417-0624.
