26 Promotions – Peoria, AZ – (June 21st, 2017) – Colton Hardy returned to the Micro division Saturday night at Canyon Speedway Park for his final tune-up before heading to California for a week of racing.

Hardy’s night kicked off with a dominating Heat race win. He started on the pole and was never challenged, winning the Heat by a half lap.

Lining up third for the Feature, Hardy moved into second right away. Unfortunately, Hardy’s night would come to an end after a restart with just one lap completed as he challenged race leader, Dale Eliason Jr, for the position.

“I stuck with Jr on the restart, went into turn three and threw the chain,” explained Hardy. “Felt like it would have been a very good race for the lead. Congrats to him though, he had one coming for a while.”

Hardy and his Bandit Racing team will put this one behind them as they head to California for a week of Micro racing starting Saturday night at Plaza Park in Visalia for the Budweiser Outlaw Nationals where Hardy will run both the Non-Wing and Super 600 divisions.

“The only plus for the weekend is we know the motor is running stronger than ever and is ready for California,” said Hardy. “I can’t thank my dad, Jake and Cameron enough over the past week getting everything prepped and ready for the race and our upcoming trip.”

Colton Hardy would also like to thank A & C Remodeling, NPS Race Engines, Engler Machine and Tool, CSI Shocks, Schoenfeld Headers, Hyper Racing, Bandit Racing, M & J Trophies and Apparel, Mark’s Nuts and Bolts, Diamond Mechanical and Napa Auto Parts for their continued support.
