Well we prepared for the fair race at Norman County Raceway last night bit found an issue the day of the race so we scrambled to fix the problem once the work day ended. Fortunately it wasn't a major issue and we were able to get the 100 machine headed northeast to Ada, MN for the fair races. Unfortunately there was weather both south and north of ADA that may have kept some cars away along with some lighting sprint guys being out of town, unresolved issue from last week or traveling that kept the car down a little. It was still a good time and fun race for our first trip to NCR this year. the 100 machine had a decent heat race finishing 5th which put us outside 4th row for the feature. Unfortunately the start did not go they way i hoped as we fell off the edge on the backstretch and backed into the guardrail and wrecked a brand new tire. What was nice was that Kelly, Hayden & Troy were able to get our tire changed and back out on the track before the field took the green. We did finish the race but not the best result finishing 9th which i guess could be worse. Still have much to learn but getting there, the car handled better i felt more comfortable just needed some more gear and keep it on the track the whole race! :)
