Robert "Bob" Wilson Passes

Robert "Bob," Wilson age 78, passed away on April 20th. Wilson served as President of the Badger Midget Auto Racing Association for four years 1973-1976. He was also a race official with the series, and involved with the leadership of NAMAR Midget Series. Wilson raced modified stock cars, before racing midgets for few seasons.
Wilson was born on January 14, 1939, in South Bound Brook, NJ. While serving in the US Air Force, Wilson eventually became located at at Truax Field in Madison, WI. He worked for various manufacturing companies, and later served as COO and Executive Director of Occupational & Family Health Services, a subsidiary of DePaul Health Corporation. He ended his professional career as a licensed private detective in Wisconsin from 1990-2002.
He is survived by wife Berry Lynn (Hakes), a sister, two sons, stepson, stepdaughter, multiple grandchildren from previous marriages, nieces, and nephews.
A "Celebration of Bob Wilson's Life" tribute will be held on Sat., July 1, 2017 from 6-8pm at Radisson Hotel Milwaukee NW, N88 W14750 Main Street, Menomonee Falls WI 53051.
