26th Annual Knepper Memorial Rescheduled for Saturday, July 22nd

Belleville, IL – With the days counting down to the 26th Annual Knepper Memorial, the weather forecast is becoming apparently more unfavorable for Friday night at Belle-Clair Speedway, therefore the decision has been made between POWRi and Belle-Clair Speedway officials to reschedule the 26th Annual Arnie Knepper Memorial for Saturday, July 22nd.

Both the POWRi Lucas Oil National Midget League and the POWRi Speedway Motors 600cc Outlaw Micro League are slated for the rescheduled date of Saturday, July 22nd. The POWRi Lucas Oil WAR Sprint Car League/WAR East Sprint Car League portion is looking at alternative dates for their reschedule.
“Keeping the drivers and teams in mind, we do not want to wait until Friday morning to cancel,” stated POWRi’s Jason McCord. “This should hopefully give teams and fans enough time to make plans to still enjoy their holiday weekend. We wish everyone a safe and happy 4th of July and look forward to an exciting 26th Knepper Memorial on July 22nd.”

Saturday night’s Border Wars at Saint Francois County Raceway in Farmington, Missouri for the POWRi Lucas Oil WAR Sprint Car League and POWRi Lucas Oil WAR East Sprint Car League will go on as scheduled.
