Lucas and Rouser Capture Driven Midwest USAC NOW600 National Victories at Superbowl During North/South Shootout

Inside Line Promotions – GREENVILLE, Texas (Aug. 20, 2017) – Jacob Lucas and Caleb Rouser each earned their first career Driven Midwest USAC NOW600 National Micro Series presented by MyRacePass victory on Saturday night at Superbowl Speedway during the North/South Shootout.

Lucas took advantage of drawing the pole position for the Stock Non-Wing A Main as he bested a season-high 45 competitors to claim the $1,000-to-win race. Karson Battarbee powered from sixth to second place with Brady Ross rounding out the podium. Christopher Larson maneuvered from 11th to fourth place and Johnny Boland advanced from 12th to fifth place.

Rouser held off Restricted ‘A’ Class championship points leader Daison Pursley to record the win. Chase Randall garnered a third-place finish with Ryder Laplante charging from 11th to fourth. Dylan Still ended fifth.

Pursley and Rouser each won a heat race.

Series officials extend their thoughts and prayers to the Randall Family following Chase Randall’s violent crash to start the Stock Non-Wing main event.

The Driven Midwest USAC NOW600 National Micro Series presented by MyRacePass will return to action on Sept. 15 at Red Dirt Raceway in Meeker, Okla., and Sept. 16 at Caney Valley Speedway in Caney, Kan.
