Tyer, Brewer and Laplante Produce Lucas Oil NOW600 National Micro Series Wins During Texas Short Track Showdown at Superbowl Speedway

Inside Line Promotions – GREENVILLE, Texas (March 24, 2018) – Jason Tyer, Chase Brewer and Ryder Laplante each picked up their first Lucas Oil NOW600 National Micro Series presented by MyRacePass feature victory of the season on Saturday at Superbowl Speedway during the Texas Short Track Showdown.

Tyer powered from 10th to claim his first career series win in the Stock Non-Wing division. Morgan Roan, who won Friday’s show, placed second with Colby Stubblefield third, Kobe Simpson fourth and Daison Pursley fifth.

Pursley and Jim Woods each captured a heat race triumph.

Brewer garnered his second career Winged ‘A’ Class victory with the series. Woods held off 10th-starting Gunner Bowden for the runner-up position. Kyle Jones rallied from 14th to fourth place with Gerald Ray rounding out the top five.

Simpson and Brad Best were the heat race winners.

Laplante earned his series-leading 10th career Restricted ‘A’ Class triumph. Kale Drake maneuvered from seventh to second place with points leader Ryan Timms ending third. Preston Scheulen placed fourth and Caleb Rouser, who was victorious on Friday, was fifth.

Elizabeth Phillips and Rees Moran each won a heat race.

The Lucas Oil NOW600 National Micro Series presented by MyRacePass will return to action on April 14 at Grayson County Speedway in Bells, Texas. Stock Non-Wing and Restricted ‘A’ Class are the NOW600 Series divisions that will compete.
