After a roaring success with the South Dakota Sprint Car Nationals on Park Jefferson’s opening weekend, Park Jefferson returns to action this Saturday night with the Malvern Bank Super Late Model Series presented by Zeitner & Sons. Some of the top late model pilots in the Upper Midwest will invade the Siouxland home for Speed for a ground pounding, heart jumping battle. Drivers like Kyle Berck, Tad Pospisil, Corey Zeitner and the Beyenhof’s are all expected to be on hand. While 2017 saw the series rain out, over 30 late models entered competition during the series 2016 visit to Park Jefferson. It was Berck who took home the top honors that evening.

Joining the SLMR series will be some of the fiercest weekly IMCA racing in the country. The opening night in the IMCA Modifieds saw IMCA National Champions, USMTS winners, multiple time track champions and Dakota Mod Tour victors all dueling it out in what is arguably the toughest weekly IMCA Modified racing around. All the great IMCA divisions will be competing to bring a full night of racing.

One quick schedule change is that the Road to the Iron Cup for sport modifieds will be moved to June 30th as Turner Plumbing will be sponsoring that night of racing.

This week’s races would not be possible without the great support for Leon Zeitner and the people at Zeitner trucking. Zeitner & Sons refrigerated transport is one of the upper Midwest’s leaders in trucking. The family owned company offers modern state of the art equipment and customer service that is second to none.
