Bryan Hulbert – SAPULPA, Okla. (July 7, 2018) Back to action after Mother Nature washed away everyone’s high-octane hopes one week ago, Creek County Speedway’s Fast Five Weekly Series resumed on Saturday, July 7 with the evening’s events presented by Webco Industries.

Moving his win percentage on the season of 66% in the Open Wheel Modified ranks, Chad Davis notched his eighth win of the year at Creek County Speedway. Mounting an impressive run from the 11th for the win Davis was trailed by Collin Wiseley with James Reed, Jim Estes, and Zack Tuggle making up the top-five.

In Champ Sprints, Chance Morton became the 10th different winner on the 2018 season. Rolling to the front of the field from fourth, Chance was joined on the podium by Brett Wilson who peddled to second after starting 12th. David Stephenson made the final podium step with Noah Harris fourth from 11th. Kyle Clark moved up 10 spots to complete the top-five.

Seven wins in 10 A-Feature starts at Creek County Speedway in the Mini Stocks, Kevin McSperitt has not finished off the podium in his last eight events at the Oklahoma quarter-mile. Jimmy Masterson finished second with Michael Longacre third. Justin Melton and Austin Timmons rounded out the top-five.

Robert Scott found his way to victory for the first time in 2018 with his win coming in Saturday’s Factory Stock A-Feature. Bobby Wolfe, Jimmy Owen, Cory Green, and Tommy Romine were the night’s top-five. Raising this season’s win total to three, Rob McQuary snagged the win in Dwarf Car action with Larry Pense moving up three spots to second. Jason Miles in third was trailed by Mike Howard and Robert Watson.

Creek County Speedway’s Fast Five Weekly Series of Champ Sprints, Modifieds, Dwarf Cars, Factory Stocks, and Mini Stocks returns for Round 13 on Saturday, July 14, 2018. Gates open at 5:00 P.M with Hot Laps at 7:00 P.M. Races get underway at 7:30 P.M. (CT).

Admission prices are $10 for adults. Youth 11-14 get in for $6 and kids 10 and under get into the grandstands for free. Pits are $30 (under 10 years of age is $15).
