Inside Line Promotions – MAPLE GROVE, Minn. (Jan. 23, 2019) – A pair of marquee winter events at Bubba Raceway Park will feature live video broadcasts via Speed Shift TV.
The season-opening tripleheader for the Ollie’s Bargain Outlet All Star Circuit of Champions is Jan. 31 through Feb. 2 at the egg-shaped oval in Ocala, Fla. It marks Tony Stewart’s fifth year of owning the series and while the three races don’t count toward the overall points championship, the visit to Bubba Raceway Park always elicits a great car count featuring many of the top sprint car drivers in the country.
There have been six different winners in seven A Mains during the last three years with Donny Schatz the only driver to claim more than one win. Kraig Kinser, Kerry Madsen, Chad Kemenah, Tim Shaffer and Sheldon Haudenschild have also captured All Star triumphs at Bubba Raceway Park during that span.
Speed Shift TV will return to the 3/8-mile track Feb. 28 through March 2 when the action showcases the Durrence Layne Dirt Late Models for an event culminating in a $10,000-to-win finale.
The Durrence Layne Street Stocks will also be on that weekend’s card for the first time with qualifying and heat race competition set for March 1 prior to dash, B Main and main event action on March 2.
The sprint car weekend kicks off a busy month before the late model event wraps up the four-week Winter Nationals at Bubba Raceway Park.
Each night of racing during both events will be live on Speed Shift TV with the pricing to be announced at a later date.
