Shell Shock Racing driver Riley Baldwin had an odd request after a race last year at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Indianapolis Track Rescue Team Member Randy Robbins mentioned he would like to have one of the small tires from the car. Randy had been working the events at IMS and found an interest in the USAC .25 Midget series cars.
Shortly after the event, Riley Baldwin signed one of his first few autograph items for Randy. Riley signed the used right rear tire from his Main event at IMS. Just recently, the Crew Chief of Shell Shocked Racing also a former member of the Indianapolis Track Rescue Team, presented Randy with his tire.
"This is so cool, thank you so much" stated Randy early that morning, "I didn't think I would get the whole wheel. Its even better that it is signed."
"It was a pleasure for someone to ask for a tire for one of our first autographed item. I could tell when we spoke at the event, he was really interested in the entire .25 series competition. I knew I wanted Riley to sign the used tire before giving to Randy", said by Crew Chief Kevin Baldwin.
Shell Shocked Racing started their 2019 campaign last weekend with a strong finish at their home track - Mini Indy Speedway at the Indiana State Fairgrounds.
