ASCS Warrior Region and Pure Stock Shootout Headline May 17

After two weeks of cancellations, US 36 Raceway is ready to try this again on Friday, May 17 as the ASCS Warrior Region has rescheduled. The race is slated to be the first stand-alone event for the Warrior Region.

Scheduled to be part of the event, the Sprint Series of Nebraska did not choose to reschedule. Due to this, US 36 Raceway is offering a $200 bonus to the top finishing IMCA Sprint Car that chooses to race with the ASCS Warrior Region. The second-best finishing IMCA Sprint Car will receive a $125 bonus and third best will receive a $75 bonus.

The Pure Stock Shootout will be run as scheduled, as they headline the US 36 weekly classes. The Pure Stocks are paying $400 to win and $75. Pure Stocks will be running under a draw/redraw format, so for any Pure Stock drivers that haven’t been to US 36, but want to give the high banks a try, this is the night.

The IMCA Stock Cars, IMCA Sport Mods and E-Modifieds will also be racing. The pits open at 5 p.m., the grandstands at 6 p.m., hot laps are at 7:30 p.m. and racing starts at 8 p.m.

The following Friday, May 24 is Modified Madness, which highlights all three Modified classes. IMCA Modifieds are racing for $1000 to win and $150 to start. IMCA Sport Mods battle for $500 to win and $80 to start and E-Modifieds are racing for $350 to win and $60 to start.
