ISMA Supermodifieds heading to Sandusky Speedway!

The Perkins Ave. speed plant will soon become a beehive of activity as the 42nd Annual Hy-Miler Supermodified Nationals gets started. On Wednesday July 24 the Sandusky Speedway Karting Series is in action. The gates open at 4 p.m., hot laps at 5:30 p.m. with racing to follow. Adult admission is $10, $5 for ages 6-12, free for ages 5 and younger.

Fan Appreciation Night is Thursday July 25 with one dollar admission. There will be one dollar hot dogs, beer and Pepsi products. Racing will be the Crate Sprint Cars, the Street Stocks have a $1,000 to win 40 lap feature. The Lake Erie Stocks are in action along with the Renegade Stocks. The Vintage Race Cars will be here plus a special exhibition by the Must See Racing 410 Sprint Cars, giving fans a preview of what they can expect when that division runs a special show at Sandusky Speedway on Sun. Aug. 25. The pit gates open at 3:30 p.m. Grandstand admission and hot lap sessions start at 4:30 p.m. Time trials at 6 p.m. with racing at 7:30 p.m.

On Friday July 26 the International Super Modified Association (ISMA) Supermodifieds will run preliminary events capped off with the "Fast 40" lap feature. The Modifieds will be in action and have a 30 lap feature. Adult admission is $25, Seniors 65+ will be $23, $8 for ages 6-12, free to ages 5 and younger. A pit pass is $40 for one day or $75 for two days. The pit gates open at 2 p.m. Grandstand admission starts at 4 p.m. The hot lap sessions start at 4 p.m. Time trials at 6:30 p.m. , racing starts at 7 p.m.

Saturday July 27 will feature the ISMA Supermodifieds running preliminary events and then the 100 lap feature race. The Modifieds are in action and will have a 50 lap, $1,200 to win feature. Adult admission is $30, $28 for Seniors 65+, $8 for ages 6-12, free to ages 5 and younger. A pit pass is $40. The pit gates open early at 11 a.m. Grandstand admission starts at 1 p.m. The hot lap sessions start at 1 p.m. Time trials are at 4 p.m. and racing starts at 7 p.m. No coolers are allowed in the grandstands.
