CMR Racing has announced today that the team will be expanding to a 3 car effort in 2020. With opportunities provided by our marketing partners and other variables that came into play for next season the team decided expansion was the key to help achieve success.

"When ever you can expand your footprint in this sport it is beneficial in many ways. It gives you an opportunity for more feedback. Gives an opportunity for marketing growth. Then it allows us to provide a car for another driver to get into our sport. That is a win all away around if you look at it from our prospective." Stated Chad Orr while the team was finalizing the purchase of their 3rd car.

"We have had horrible luck this year. With family members passing away, to some health scars on the team. Then with just bad racing luck in general we felt like we needed to do something different to get this bad luck (juju) away from us. We needed some good news and some positive vibes back in our camp and this just felt great. Kevin Nussbaum has been a friend of mine for a while and has helped both Brian and I out at the track all season. It was time for him to experience what we do and to live out his dream!" Chad Orr spoke during a team lunch today.

"I can't wait to see what the car feels like and the speed it will have in it. The team just bought a 3rd car and will be picking up another engine at the end of the month. We have a lot of things in place and look forward to what the 2020 season will bring!" stated CMR's new driver Kevin Nussbaum.

Kevin has been involved in racing for over 30 years and this will be his first taste of dirt racing as he has been a pavement racer most of his life. The team welcomes Kevin and his great family into our family and we look forward to seeing everyone in 2020.

The team does have one more event on tap for 2019 as both Brian Myers and Chad Orr will finish the 2019 season in the "Brad Joyce Memorial" at Circus City Speedway this Saturday the 5th starting at 6pm.
