Racing action returns to the speedway, Saturday & Sunday, June 13th & 14th for The Mike "Huey" Hughes Sunflower Classic Memorial Race Presented by Nutrien Ag Solutions sponsored in part by Evans Building Company, Inc of Wichita, KS; S & S Trailers Sales of Ness City, KS; Miller Trucking of LaCrosse, KS and R & R Towing of WaKeeney, KS.
2 days, 2 complete shows. Green Flag will wave at 5pm each day. National, Regional, State and Local Track Points will be awarded both days.
On track will be the IMCA Mods. They will race for a $1,000 to win, $125 to start with a $25 entry fee each day and winner qualifies for the Fast Shaft All Star Qualifier Race. The IMCA Stocks will pay $400 to win with $75 to start. IMCA Northern SportMods and Hobby Stocks will race for $300 to win and $50 to start. The IMCA Sport Compacts will race for $200 to win and $30 to start. Stocks, SportMods, Hobby Stocks and Sport Compact have no entry fee either day.
This will be a draw/redraw event.
The URSS 305 Sprints will join us track side with a payout of $1,000 to win both days.
Reserved Pit Parking will be honored. All 305 Sprints will pit in the north extended pit area to the west of the pit trailer.
Make up features for the Mods and Hobby Stocks from the rain out race night, May 24th will be first on the program for the night.
Pit passes for adults 13 & up will be $30 and kids 12 & under with parent or guardian $10 each day. Pits will open at 2pm each day.
General Admission for adults 13 & up will be $15 and kids 12 & under FREE with parent or guardian each day. GA will open at 3pm each day.
