Missouri State Fair Race Confirmed with POWRi WAR Sprints to Compete

Belleville, IL. (7/6/2020) The Missouri State Fair Championship at the historic half-mile in Sedalia, Missouri, scheduled for Sunday, August 23rd, has been confirmed by Missouri State Fair Board and POWRi officials.

Customarily marking the closing events of the Missouri State Fair, the racing action at the fairgrounds makes the rare occurrence for drivers the compete around the iconic Sedalia Speedway. Last year in traditional sprint car competition Braydon Cromwell #4 would cowboy-up, leading nearly all the laps in the feature on his way to claiming the victory. Will Cromwell repeat or perhaps POWRi WAR point’s leader and three-time feature winner in 2020 Riley Kreisel will claim the glory. As racing action heats the Sunday Sedalia sky with the fairgrounds as a back-drop, drivers from all over will try to become the Missouri State Fair Champion.

Pits will open at 3:00 pm as Hot Laps are scheduled for 6:00 pm with racing action to follow.
