Slinging dirt for the first time ever at Brockville-Ontario Speedway was the next event for the Big Game Treestands #7 team as the World of Outlaws continued their march through ‘The Great White North’ on Friday.

With an abundant amount of rainfall throughout the afternoon, Mother Nature cooperated in time for racing to get underway at the 1/3-mile oval as ‘The Crowd Pleaser’ was the first car out to qualify and stopped the clock 3rd quick among the 25 competitors. Starting outside the second row in heat race three, Dollansky raced up to 3rd to transfer into the dash. An inversion of four would put ‘The Crowd Pleaser’ alongside teammate Sammy Swindell as Dollansky took the lead at the start and went on to take the victory.

As the field lined up for the 35-lap A-Main, the Karavan Trailers #7 started on the pole with Dollansky eyeing his seventh win of the season. A very narrow and fast race track saw Swindell take the lead until the first caution on lap 3. With no double-file restarts due to the narrow racing surface, the Big Game Treestands #1 again shot out to the lead until another stoppage on lap 16. The Aggressive Hydraulics Maxim continued to run second but when the front nose-wing collapsed with 15 to go Dollansky had his hands full with an ill-handling race car. Bad luck struck teammate Swindell on lap 29 as the #1 blew a left rear tire, handing the lead over to Dollansky for the restart. ‘The Crowd Pleaser’ would do his best to hold on to the lead during the final six circuits but the handling was to much as Paul McMahan and Jason Meyers raced past with three to go but Dollansky still recorded a podium finish in 3rd.

"It was unfortunate because we had a good race car," commented Dollansky who recorded his 17th top-five finish. "At the end of the yellow with 15 laps in and Sammy’s left rear was getting low I knew that might be a little trouble for him as the race worn on but right after my front wing folded down on the left front corner. It was okay when it was folded down, I could deal with it, but then it flopped over on the right front and I was just trying to hang on and finish. We had a great car, this Big Game Treestands car was strong all night but you have to get to the checkered flag with everything working good. It was a tough break for Sammy having a flat tire; they had a good car as well. It would have been great to get a 1-2 finish for Big Game Treestands but coming home 3rd with what we were dealing with is not a bad run."

Racing resumes on Saturday at Autodrome Drummond in Drummondville, Quebec.
