As the Badger Midget Series heads into its 85th year of motorsports, the organization would like to introduce the stars, cars, and owners who will be competing this season. We hope you enjoy learning about your favorite competitors and seeing them on track in 2021.

Our next Pit Stop Bio is with the 2019 Badger Rookie of the Year Matt Rechek. Matt resides in his hometown of Beaver Dam, Wisconsin where he is self-employed in an excavating business. Matt drives for long-time friend Chris Breuer, in a Buzzard Chassis powered by an MWR Technologies Chevy engine. Matt’s sponsor partners include Breuer Metals, First Supply, Pat’s Auto Shine, Recheck Farms, Recheck Excavating. Below are some answers from a recent interview conducted with Matt.

Name one accomplishment that you’re proud of in your racing career?
Winning Beaver Dam Modified Championship twice, and being BADGER RoY in 2019
