Thiel Clinches Win at Chilton!

Thiel Clinches Win at Chilton!

A cool temperature night of racing took place Friday night September 23rd at the Chilton Fall Classic in Chilton, Wisconsin. Scotty Thiel and the #64 Professional Plating Sprint Car started on the outside pole of the 25 lap A-Main event and on lap three, took the lead and never looked back.

Thiel started on the inside second row of the heat race event. It was a fairly slick race track and on the white flag lap, took over the second positon and took the checkered flag. That finish would allow him to start on the outside pole of the 25 lap A-Main event. At the drop of the green, Thiel worked the high side but wasn't gaining on the leader. He went from top to bottom and was able to pull along side the lead going in to turn 3 on the third lap. Scotty completed a slid job and took over the lead. He took charge and began to pull away from the field. With about seven laps to go, Thiel began to enter into lap traffic. Scotty continued to drive hard and would take home the checkered flag!

It was a great night of racing for the Scott Thiel Motorsports team. After struggling a few weeks, the win was well worth it. The crew made great calls all night on the car and it showed in the main as Scotty drove away from the field on the new Triple X Chassis and Super Shox package.
