Hanford promoter Scott Woodhouse & more on KWS Tonight this Thursday

This week on “KWS Tonight” we will feature an information loaded show, highlighted by Giant Chevrolet Kings Speedway promoter Scott Woodhouse being in-studio for an extended interview.

Woodhouse will speak about why he ventured into promoting and how he got involved in racing, as well as talk about the special things he does to promote Giant Chevrolet Kings Speedway in Hanford.

In addition to that we’ll spend some time discussing and previewing the fast approaching Cotton Classic on October 15 and also give information about the fifth-mile Plaza Park Raceway in Visalia, another track Woodhouse promotes.

With the Fall Nationals held last weekend in Chico we will give a rundown of how King of the West drivers did at the event, which was ultimately captured by KWS point leader Tim Kaeding for the fourth time in his illustrious career.

We’ll also preview the 64th annual Rio Vista Bass Derby & Festival that will be held this Friday through Sunday in the hometown of the King of the West 410 Sprint Car Series. On Sunday the always fun soap box derby will be run from 2pm to 5pm, with the finish line located by the KWS office on Main Street.

Finally we will give a mention and update on the KWS giveaway car, share some tidbits and teasers on the year end awards banquet and play an audio file speaking about “Carwash Mike” that Bobby Gerould recorded in Pennsylvania this past weekend.

The show will air at 7pm pst this Thursday evening on http://www.kwssprints.com/webcast
