August 7th is the Grays Harbor County fair race.
Back gates will open at Noon on the 7th, racing starts at 4:00 pm. If you have been to the Fair race in the past, you are aware that the County will only allow your tow-rigs and trailer in without having to pay a parking fee. There are no personal vehicles allowed into the pits.
This is the IRONMAN event for the Super Stocks, it will be a 50 Lap main event, with added purse for the Feature event from Cut Rate Auto Parts. 1st will receive an additional $250.00, 2nd will receive an additional $150.00 and 3rd an additional $100.00. 4th place through 10th place will receive an additional $25.00.
Modifieds, August 7 is the beginning of the Wild West Speed week for Modifieds. In working with IMCA and the other tracks involved with Modified Speed Week, which we are the finale on August 14th here at Grays Harbor Raceway. Points will be given by IMCA for State, Regional and National standing for the event on the 7th. There will be no track points on the 7th of August but there will be Track points on the 14th of August for Grays Harbor Raceway.
We do have a sponsor for additional purse for the feature event on August 7th fair race for the Modifieds they matched the Super Stock additional purse funds. 1st will receive an additional $250.00, 2nd will receive an additional $150.00 and 3rd an additional $100.00. 4th place through 10th place will receive an additional $25.00 for the feature event.
Hornets for the fair race will receive $75.00 for the feature event winner (1st) 2nd will receive $50.00 and 3rd will receive $25.00.
