The season has come to a close at LoneStar Speedway, and an early evening event has been set to celebrate the top point drivers on Saturday, November 19th. A fun and laid back event is in store, and here are the details: What. 2011 LoneStar Speedway Driver Points Celebration. When. Saturday November 19th, 4pm-6pm Meet & Greet, plus beer, burgers & more, 6pm-7pm Awards presentation. Where. LoneStar Speedway main grandstand area. Details. The top 10 finishers from each of the LoneStar points divisions (Factory Stocks, Modifieds & Limited Modifieds) are invited free of charge – as well as three guests of each of those drivers. Additional guests can attend for $10/person. Race fans, sponsors, owners and the general public are also invited to attend for $10/person. When you arrive at the track, go to the front ticket office to get your admittance tickets. Drinks, beer and food will be provided at the main concession stand from 4pm to 6:30pm. At 6pm, the awards presentation will begin. The top 5 points finishers in each division will receive an MRX embroidered jacket to commemorate their accomplishment. Point’s finishers 6th-10th will each receive a hoodie. In addition, the top 10 points getters in each division will be presented a point’s fund check, providing they attended a minimum of 70% of the 2011 scheduled races for their division. There will also be a collection area set up for Kenny Fielder, who was injured in a non-racing related accident that competed regularly at LoneStar Speedway.
