The Lonestar 600's presented by K&K Earthworks set to take on a new track. For the first time the Lonestar 600's will be going to I-37 Speedway. It is awesome to be able to take our growing series to a new market with such a great facility. This is I-37 Speedway's first year to be open after being closed for several years. It was a sad day when Bronco Raceway Park closed its doors. As one of the main Lonestar 600's tracks it hurt. After some much needed rest. And a long Saturday night. Teams started pulling into Gulf Coast Speedway to try again for night number 2. 21 Winged 600's and 6 Restrictor's checked in for Sundays Tommy Wilson Memorial. Unfortunately Mother Nature Rained us out for Fri Jun 30th. Glen Johnson owner of Golden Triangle called and said the had 3" of rain this morning bringing their week long rain total to 11". The night was delayed for 2 hours after only 2 heats for lightening, then a downpour. The Creek County Staff did a remarkable job getting the track back in shape to resume the nights program resulting in a very fast racing surface.
