Race Fans and Race Teams Mel Decker, Owner/Driver of the #22 Modified was taken to the hospital with a serious condition to both of his legs. He was diagnosed with a blood clot and an aneurysm in his right leg. After a six hour surgery the doctors were able to save his leg and get the blood to start flowing correctly. Skagit Speedway Hall of Famer Lloyd Armey passed away November 23 surrounded by his family. Lloyd and his famous #37 race car was an iconic figure at Skagit Speedway for many years. Happy New Year to our great race teams and loyal fans! We are working on the 2021 schedule, but are finding it very difficult to complete with the unknown restrictions of the Covid virus. We are working very closely with county and state officials on the probability of opening and to what extent.
