The point season may have come to an end but the racing definitely didn’t stop! Over 90 cars signed into the pits to compete, some for the last time this year and some we will see just once more on the 14th. For those of you that were unable to attend the swap meet yesterday the schedule is now available at www.cottagegrovespeedway.com The Cottage Grove Speedway season is scheduled to kick off a couple weeks earlier than years past with a play day on March 17th and races starting March 24th. April 28, 2018 One hundred sixty-one race cars packed the pits at Boone on Saturday night for their second weekly show of 2018. Ricky Thornton, Jr. won a thrill packed IMCA Modified feature, Johnny Spaw took the win in the IMCA Stock Car class, and Austin Luellen repeated his win from last week in the IMCA Northern SportMod A main. Boone Speedway held the first of it's Super Saturday shows with the IMCA Modifieds vying for the $1,000 prize, and the IMCA Hobby Stocks the chosen class with $500 on the line.
