SSP Gets May 25th Event Completed By Ben Deatherage Despite wet weather in the Pacific Northwest the Sunset Speedway Park was able to get all events completed on Saturday May 25th. This past weekend were the Non-Wing Nationals at Port City Raceway. I would first like to thank Mark Wilson for letting me race his car in the stock class, I did miss making the A Feature on Friday Night. Saturday was much better, although I did have to transfer out of the B Feature where I started 20th in the A Feature and finished overall for the night in 13th. The OCRS traveled to Caney, Kansas for a race on the 1/4 mile oval. The wet conditions of the track quickly turned to dust as the night went on. With a season best finish of 13th in the "A", Michael and BiGFooT Racing looks toward the hot dry days of summer and the heat of the racing action matching that of the heat of summer. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the victims of last weeks tornadoes.
