To complete a great weekend of racing Sodeman and the S & S UnWired/ Economy Tooling team headed out to the only sunny skies in Ohio, Millstream Speedway. Starting 4th in his heat Sodeman would keep his position and make the draw into the 25 lap feature. A heads up redraw would have the 23jr starting in the 12th spot. But due to extreme track conditions Sodeman pulled out at lap 4 and was scored 18th.

Knowing we only held our point lead by 24 didn't take any pressure away from the UnWired/ Economy Tooling 23jr team and Sodeman Jr. himself. Without a heat race if the current team in second place, D4 Danny Holtgraver, were to win we would have to secure 7th or better to be crowned the champion. Because there were no heat races, the top ten drivers in each division lined up in front of the grandstands and chose frisbees that contained the number of their starting spot....more

We knew coming back to Lernerville after last weeks win was going to be a challenge. As long as we made the draw out of our heat, we cannot start any better than 12th. And to be expected another challenging pill would have us start towards the rear of our heat in the 6th spot. The track was in great shape though due to the rains Sarver had been getting, so Sodeman was quick to make his way into the third spot and stay there for the checkered. In the feature the track...more
