It is with great sadness that I write about the loss of our friend and 2011 Silver Dollar Speedway Sprint Car Champion Tyler Wolf. The World of Outlaws extends its deepest sympathy and condolences to the family and friends of Jason Leffler, a great racer and man whose life ended too soon tonight. We were always excited to see Jason enter the pits to race with the Outlaws, and he will no doubt be missed by everybody from his fellow competitors to officials to his many fans.

The USAC Benevolent Foundation has today announced a $10,000 grant in the memory of the late USAC racing champion Jason Leffler, who lost his life Wednesday night in a racing accident in New Jersey. Smith, a member of numerous motorsports halls of fame, was 84 years old.
