Bob Thompson started out as Crew Chief for the 3T Tommy Thompson Maxim cars back in 1998. After a couple years with the family team, Bob switched over to Perricone Motorsports. Jim and Bob have had a long run together of over 16 years racing national events. The team is housed out of Hohenwald, TN where Bob lives. The now JBMotorsports team has grown and is nationally recognized as one of the top Sprint car teams in the country.

Tommy started out driving 360 Sprint cars at East Bay Raceway in Tampa Florida. After a couple strong years, Tommy has settled into being a strong contender in the USCS mini sprints division.
