About Brandon

Brandon Walters was born August 16, 2000. He has always seemed to make his dreams come true. Ever since Brandon was 2 years old he wanted to be a fireman, and in august of 2015, he joined the Randall Fire Department. When he was about 5 years old Brandon had a pretty serious conversation about the military with his great grandpa Russ & his grandpa Gordy, from then on he had a deep desire to join the service. Brandon worked hard to finish high school & graduated in June of 2018. After almost a year of talking to different recruiters he made a decision & on April 24, 2019 Brandon was sworn into the Army National Guard.

Brandon was about 2 years old the first time he helped his dad tear apart & build a demo car. He & his older sister Russtina loved destroying the cars, and they were pretty handy with screw drivers! Brandon & his sister Russtina built their 1st demo cars from some old power wheel jeeps in the front yard, and then recruited the neighborhood kids to push them into each other cause you see the jeeps did not run! We are still pretty positive that this is where the power wheel demos started! Brandon has continued to help his dad build demo cars every year since. In 2016 he built his first real demo car & took 7th out of 24 cars in the compact car demo derby. In 2017 Brandon & his older sister Russtina decided they were both going to run in the Kenosha County Fair Demo Derby. His little sister Bri also decided to get in on the power wheel derby that year, of course she loved it too & has ran in 2 more since! About 3 years ago Brandon was presented with an opportunity to help rebuild & learn about modified & street stock race cars. Once again he had a crazy idea! So it came as no surprise to Brandon’s family when he decided that he wanted to drive a race car. After all he grew up watching racing every sunday with his parents & had been working on the #50 for 2 years.

It was easy enough for Brandon to choose the number he wanted to race. His job in the military is a truck driver or an 88M. Brandon will be driving a 1995 Plymouth Neon 2.0L single overhead Cam for the 2020 Bandit Racing Season at Wilmot Speedway.

Brandon and Kylee are expecting their first child in July 2021!
