About Carson

Carson is in his fourth year of racing. He competed in the Hobby Stock class for 2 years and A Modifieds last year where he was the points champion at his hometown track in Harlan, IA. He's now trying his hand at the Stock Car class. As a true racing enthusiast, Mr. Reinig enjoys competing along side of the experienced long term racers and learning from them.

Carson's racing career has been jumpstarted by his Grandfather, Pudge Grabill of Harlan. Pudge has been part of the racing community for many years and currently participates in the Vintage class. Mr. Reinig spent his first 2 years in the Hobby Stock class driving for another racing mentor - Denny Peterson of Jacksonville, Iowa.

Outside of the track he is 19 and farms all around Harlan and western Shelby County. Some of his fields include one out the back stretch of the Shelby County Speedway and another across the road to the north. If the rows don't look very straight - it's because he does everything FAST.

Career Highlights

Carson is becoming a mainstay at the Shelby County Speedway. He has been to nearly every race since he was 4 years old. Now he doesn't just spectate, he races.
