Vinnie Christiano III is a third-generation driver out of the Town of Tonawanda, New York. He grew up idolizing his grandfather's racing team, Englewood Collision Motorsports, and dreamed of someday being able to race the famous black and gold TQ Midgets of Team Vinnie. His grandfather, Vince Christiano Sr, had been involved in motorsports since the 1930s, and won 4 Can-Am TQ Midget Championships. Christiano Sr. built TQs modelled after the Keith Dempster-designed chassis, and at one time fielded a stable of seven Three-Quarter midgets.
After one year of Go-Karts in 2014, VC3 joined his dad, Vinnie Jr., as a TQ Midget driver for their namesake's team, and have been part of an "only" 3-car team ever since, with Dave Wollaber piloting the #1 car, Vinnie Christiano Jr. behind the wheel of the #2, and Vinnie Christiano III driving the #3.
Outside of racing, Christiano III is a sports broadcaster by trade. He works in live sports production for over a dozen different sports and several organizations, including Lancaster Motorplex, Canisius University, St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute, and the Rochester Americans. He is also the current president of the Ellwood Volunteer Fire Department.
In his somewhat rare free time, Christiano enjoys playing hockey and golf, as well as listening to music and curating different playlists. He's also a big fan of brackets, so you can catch him in an engaging conversation almost anytime about how he ranks different topics against each other.
