The difference between a dream and a goal is exactly what I am demonstrating every day. Sprint car racing is my passion. Forever being involved in racing is my dream. They say that racing is not simply a hobby, but a lifestyle. I could not agree more. Therefore, I have made it my goal to have a future in what I love. I have dedicated myself to achieving a higher education and striving daily to get closer to my career.

I believe my personal and professional views are the same. I make it my mission to always be a genuine, light-hearted, hard worker. These are three broad traits that encompass so much of who I am and who I strive to be every day.
• To be genuine is to be honest, respectful and respectable, and simply true to oneself. Being genuine is being clear and focused.
• To be light hearted is to understand the old saying “c’est la vie.” I find ease in finding humor in everything; looking for the bright side and thinking, “What is the worst that could happen?” with the acknowledgement of what is truly important in life.
• To be a hard worker is to be a hard worker in all aspects of life. This is important as it shows dedication, loyalty, passion, and overall drive. Work hard. Work hard every day because anything worth having is worth working for. To be anything less than a hard worker is a waste of everyone’s time.
It is my mission to encompass and perfect these traits that will drive me to success in my career and my life. Also, it is because of these traits I know I will not fall short of my dream, my goal.
