USO Fort Drum, The Watertown Vet Center and the 10th Mountain division Band were all on hand for a great night of racing on Armed Forces Night at the Can Am Speedway this past Friday night. Plenty of racing action was in store with a pair of defending track champions getting into victory lane on for the first time this year. Genavieve Bartlett was looking to make it three in a row in the 12 lap Donath Motorworx Limited Sportsman, but she would have to come from the 8th...more

Several local fire fighters, emergency teams and law enforcement officials will be on hand at the Can-Am Speedway, which also features a parade at intermission around the speedway with many...more

Racing is about many things. Yes, it’s about winning and going faster than your competitors. Without a few important things, like sponsors, helping drivers get the best equipment they can, we couldn’t be able to see the top drivers battle it out weekly at the Nasty Track of the North. But one thing that is the most important part of a speedway is the fans and Can-Am is looking forward to our annual Fan Appreciation Night. A full card of racing awaits our great race...more

May 25, 1998 was the last time the popular Summer Starter had been run and during the Golden Jubilee Season at the Can-Am Speedway, staff and management decided to bring it back. The race and finish did not disappoint. The night began with the return of the DIRT Modified Nostalgia Tour as they made their first appearance at Can-Am since 2019. The 20 lap affair saw Kingston Ontario’s Aaron Pugh take the lead at the drop of the green, over Rich Townsend, Ian Gordon, Jipp...more
