The Nasty Track of the North season opener was exciting last week as the Golden Jubilee season saw a couple of surprise winners, but the night also belonged to drivers who had been there before. The Whitesboro Plowshop DIRTCar 358 Modified division saw Billy Dunn start up front and lead every lap on his way to career win number 63 in the Modified ranks at Can-Am. The race got close in traffic as young Jackson Gill closed the gap but Dunn held on for the opening day...more

But it was the drivers who had been there before that stayed in the spotlight on this night. The DIRTCar Sportsman Series headlined the night as the North Regional Series was in town. By: Tim Baltz Friday night at the Can Am Speedway was nothing short of exciting in all divisions with many teams having something to cheer about. Despite weather all week that was not exactly favorable, track crews did their best all night to give drivers the best track they could. What this produced, was a night of first-time winners on Cinco de Mayo night. The Donath Motorworx Limited Sportsman kicked off the evening and the 12 lap event was a battle to remember as...more
