The Cressman Sanitation Midwest Sprint Touring Series outlaw sprint cars have two stops on the schedule this weekend – a Friday night date in Jackson, Minnesota with a Saturday night stop in Huron, South Dakota.
Jackson Motorplex hosted two MSTS 410 events in 2024 with victories going to Scott Bogucki and Chase Randall. In all, this will be race number 44 for MSTS in Jackson, with events dating back to 2015.
Saturday’s event at Dakota State Fair Speedway is the second ever stop for the tour at the track. Last May’s event was won by California’s Tim Kaeding.
Friday’s event is the Tweeter Memorial presented by Joel Pingeon Trucking. The event honors the legacy of Rob Tvedte – a legendary Jackson sprint car racer who was cheered for on the speedway and loved off the track. He was also known for his work with Tweeter Contracting. Tvedte passed way in November at the age of 52. Heser Auto & Detailing IMCA RaceSaver sprint cars complete the event’s card that starts with hot laps at 7:30 p.m.
West-Way Trailers presents Saturday’s event at Dakota State Fair Speedway which also features the RepairableVehicles.com Tri-State Late Models. Racing starts at 7 p.m.
