OCRS Sprint Cars Return to Action This Weekend in Kansas

Bristow, OK — After a nearly month-long break, the AmeriFlex Hose & Accessories Oil Capital Racing Series is back in action this weekend with a doubleheader in Kansas!

Racing kicks off Friday night, June 20th, at Humboldt Speedway in Humboldt, Kansas, a track the OCRS hasn’t visited since 2021. Fans will remember that last visit well, as Alex Sewell claimed the victory in the main event. The return to Humboldt has been highly anticipated by both fans and drivers alike.

The weekend continues on Saturday night, June 21st, at 81 Speedway in Park City, Kansas, for the prestigious 8th Annual Mike Peters Classic. With the recent closing of Red Dirt Raceway, 81 Speedway stepped in to host this storied event honoring the late racing legend Mike Peters. Kyle Clark won the last Mike Peters Classic, and a strong field is expected to battle for the coveted title once again.

"We're excited to get the cars back on track and put on a show for the fans," said OCRS owner Tim Kent. "Humboldt is a fast little bullring that always delivers great racing, and the Mike Peters Classic has become one of the signature events on our schedule."

Both nights promise edge-of-your-seat excitement, with drivers ready to battle it out.
