Taylor Takes Third Wisconsin WingLESS Main In Row With Road America Challenge

(Plymouth, WI, Saturday, June 21, 2025)--Adam Taylor of Whitfield, IN made it three in a row taking the 20-lap AutoMeter Powered by Gandrud Performance Wisconsin WingLESS Sprints feature portion of the Road America Challenge Saturday, June 21 at Plymouth Dirt Track on the Sheboygan County Fairgrounds.
"It was a great battle with George (Gaertner III) and my teammate Miles (Doherty)," said Taylor, joined by his dad, sponsor and family in victory lane after winning his second series feature win in a row, having taken top honors June 14 at Wilmot Raceway after winning at Angell Park Speedway June 1. "The car was set up perfectly, the track prep crew did an excellent job and it was a lot of fun. I like running with this series and we're hoping to keep the momentum going."
Gaertner, who won the Fox Lake Harbor presents All Star Performance 1st Heat, jumped into the opening lap lead at the drop of Todd Booker's green flag. Doherty, who won the BR Motorsports Presents King Race Products 3rd Heat, worked to the outside of Gaertner on lap two of the non-stop main.
Taylor, who started sixth in the field improving five spots to take the Behling Race Equipment Hard Charger Award, went side by side several circuits with Doherty taking the high line into the lead at the flagstand on the front straightaway completing lap 12. Taylor went on to the win pulling away from the field to the finish. Tyler Kuxhouse of Antioch, IL, winner of the Game Day Men's Health Presents Behling Race Equipment 2nd Heat, took third at the checkered edging out fourth place Gaertner by 2 tenths of a second.
Tim Cox of Park City, IL finished fifth as third thru fifth crossed less than half second apart.
Kenosha's Bryce Andrews top the Body Craft of Antioch qualifying charts clocking :14.8 seconds for quick time honors. During qualifying Racine's Josh Davidson walked away from his mangled machine after flipping in turn two eliminating him for the night.
After a stop at Angell Park Speedway on Sunday, June 22, the WingLESS return to action at Wilmot Raceway on Saturday, June 28, along with 11-75 Sports Complex & Eatery IRA Lightning Sprints, 604 Winged Sprints and Wilmot Street Stocks. The June 21 Wilmot Raceway race program including Lightning Sprints was canceled due to excessive heat warnings.
