Indiana native Bryce Norris returned to action over the weekend as Bloomington Speedway hosted the Bumper to Bumper IRA Sprint Series on Friday night.
Norris advanced two positions in his heat race to finish second, then slipped to fourth in the dash. In the 30-lap feature, still dialing in his setup, he dropped one position to register a ninth-place finish.
On Saturday, the team traveled north to Butler Motor Speedway in Michigan. Norris posted the third-fastest lap in his 19-car qualifying group, then went on to win his heat race. He followed up a fourth-place dash effort with a steady seventh-place finish in the evening’s 30-lap main event.
